GLENN HUGHES Performs With KEN HENSLEY In Norway
August 8, 2007Legendary vocalist/bassist Glenn Hughes (DEEP PURPLE, BLACK SABBATH) played and sang with Ken Hensley (ex-URIAH HEEP) and his LIVE FIRE band this past weekend (August 4) in Gressvik, Norway, as part of the fourth edition of the annual Ken Hensley Summer Party. The concert was sold out and singer Jorn Lande (ex-MASTERPLAN) also guested on a rendition of DEEP PURPLE's "Burn", singing David Coverdale's parts while Hughes sang his original lines. Glenn also sang and played bass on "Stormbringer", "Might Just Take Your Life", "Mistreated", "You Keep On Moving", as well as on Hensley's tracks "What You Gonna Do" and "The Last Dance" (which were also sung by Glenn on Ken's album "Blood on the Highway", released earlier this year).
